Applying common sense and potentially “gut feel” to the delivered outcome as well as an understanding of the result achieved build confidence in the delivered output.

To provide a helpful analogy to understand the role of AI in today’s work environment. Just as a paintbrush a simple tool, an inert object until handled by the expert artist, AI is merely a powerful tool that processes information based on defined parameters.

Whereas an artist understands the behaviour of pigments and the texture of surfaces, if we lack a clear objective or fail to understand how to prompt or guide an AI query, the output will inevitably miss the mark and be misaligned to our intent.

To leverage AI effectively, we must develop a similar understanding of the system's underlying mechanisms and limitations. The most critical component is knowing precisely what you are seeking to achieve. Without this clarity, AI can produce unusable results. When combined with clear intent and expert guidance, however, AI can accomplishment complex tasks with exceptional speed and precision.

As a paint brush in the hands of the skilled artist creates a work of art, AI expertly used, serves to produce a result at a superior level of speed and competence.
